Guitar Lessons in Mosman, Cremorne & Sydney's Lower North Shore
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you teach beginners?
All skill levels are welcome. Whether you're starting your guitar playing journey or picking it back up after a break, I can help you progress with confidence.
What age is to young?
I generally find that 7 is often to young, but it really depends on the individual child. Every child develops differently.
In lessons, I aim to keep at least half the time focused on learning. The other half is usually spent engaging with the natural curiosity and questioning that comes along with being so young.
Where do you travel to?
I travel across Sydney's Lower North Shore. This includes suburbs around Cremorne, Mosman, Crows Nest, Manly, Neutral Bay, North Sydney, Kirribilli, Seaforth and Cammeray.
Do I need my own guitar?
I strongly encourage all students to own their own guitars. While instruments can be expensive, it is one of the most important parts of your learning journey.
Having a guitar that you own, enjoy playing and feel connected to makes it far more likely you will practise regularly.
I am always happy to help you choose a suitable guitar based on your budget and needs.
How much are lessons?
My pricing reflects my experience as a guitar teacher and the fact that you are getting one on one lessons directly with me. I also travel to you, which adds convenience and saves you the hassle of commuting. It is a simple, personal setup focused on making lessons easy and enjoyable. With all of that in mind, I still try to keep pricing competitive with other options in the area.
